Men’s Ice Hockey star Nick Dupuis set program firsts and racked up a dazzling roster of regional and national honors. Team scoring leader in 2009-10, he was second top scorer in the 2011-12 season. Dupuis remains the third ranked defenseman in Thoroughbred history, with a career record of 23 goals, 53 assists and 76 points.
He led the Thoroughbreds to three Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference East semi-final appearances (2008-09, 2009-10 and 2011-12).
A Skidmore Invitational All-Tournament Team member in 2009, Dupuis was All ECAC East First Team in 2010-11. He earned ECAC Men’s East Player of the Week in 2010 and was selected All ECAC East First Team in 2011-12.
The first All-American in Men’s Ice Hockey history, he was named a Third Team All-American in the 2011-12 season. Dupuis also distinguished himself in the classroom as a consistent member of Skidmore’s Thoroughbred Society — he earned ECAC Men’s East All Academic honors in 2009-10.
Dupuis went on to play professionally and helped the Pensacola Ice Flyers win the Southern Professional Hockey League Championship in 2012-13.
