The tenacious attackman scored a point in all 57 career games in which he played. He led the team in scoring his sophomore and junior years and was second in scoring his freshman and senior years. Coppola holds Skidmore's all-time career assist record, and is ranked third in all-time career scoring with 61 goals and 135 assists for 196 points, and third in single season points with 72 (2009).

The three-time Liberty League All-Star (2007-2009) ranked first in the conference in assists in 2008 with 2.21 per game and led the nation in assists in 2009 with a school-record 50 (3.33 per game). Team captain his junior and senior years, Coppola is the only player in the last 15 seasons (2000-2015) to score 10 points in a game when he delivered five goals and five assists in a 16-6 win over Babson in 2009.

Brown Scholar Athlete Award and the Senior Athlete Award. After graduation, Coppola spent a year as assistant coach for the Men's Lacrosse team while working for Skidmore's Admissions Office and Higher Education Opportunity Program.
