Skidmore College Athletics Hall of Fame
One of the most decorated players in the history of Skidmore's Women's Tennis, Inke Noel '99 broke new ground for the Thoroughbreds while relentlessly. pursuing a standard of excellence on the court that propelled her to national prominence. A member of the Thoroughbreds' NCAA Division III National Championship team in 1998, she became the first and only NCAA Division III Doubles National Champion (with Lisa Powers '01) in program history in 1999.

A three-time Upstate Collegiate Athletic Association All-Conference player, (1995, 1996, 1998), she was also named to the All-Championship Team and an All-State player by the New York State Women's Collegiate Athletic Association in those years. She garnered NYSWCAA Champion honors in team (1996-99) and doubles competition (1997, 1999).

Noel was the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Northeast Regional Champion in doubles in 1996, the same year she captured the ITA Rolex National Doubles Championship (with Jamie Levine '98). She competed in four NCAA team tournaments and three NCAA doubles and singles tournaments.

A six-time All-American (singles: 1997-99 / doubles:1997, 1999), she was team captain her senior year and recipient of Skidmore's Senior Athlete of the Year Award.
