John Mosier is committed to providing the best possible health care to its student athletes.
The Sports Medicine Team consists of dedicated certified athletic trainers, physicians, coaches, and administrators who work hard to ensure the health and safety of each student-athlete. Our staff is responsible for providing care through injury prevention, immediate care, rehabilitation, and functional training to allow each student-athlete to achieve success both on and off the field.
Hours of Operation:
Athletic Training Room hours are based on in-season schedules and will be posted as such. These schedules will vary depending on the season, however, in general the Athletic Training Room hours of operation are listed below. If athletes are unable to visit the athletic training room during the allotted hours they may work individually to schedule outside of these times in cooperation with the athletic training staff member conducting their treatments.
*All athletes need to make appointments with an Athletic Trainer in order to be seen. Please see the contact information for individual Athletic Trainers, listed under “Staff” in order to schedule.
Monday – Thursday
12PM-3PM - Open clinical hours for appointments, rehabilitation, new evaluations, injury treatment. (Times are subject to change depending on the season)
3PM-8PM - PRACTICE TIME – The Athletic Training Room will be available one hour prior to in-season scheduled practices and one half hour after the last practice is
scheduled to end.
GAME TIME – The Athletic Training Room will be available a maximum of two hours (unless otherwise arranged between coach and athletic trainers) prior to scheduled games and one half hour after the game has ended.
Friday
REHAB/TREATMENT TIME
– as scheduled individually with athlete and Athletic Trainer
PRACTICE TIME – The Athletic Training Room will be open one hour prior to in-season scheduled practices and one half hour after the last practice is
scheduled to end.
GAME TIME – The Athletic Training Room will be open two hours (unless otherwise arranged between coach and athletic trainers) prior to scheduled games and one half hour after the game has ended.
Weekends
The Athletic Training Room will be closed, except for in-season team contests and practices, where practice time and game time parameters as listed above will apply. Individual treatment times will be scheduled as needed by the covering Athletic Trainers.
