Meghan Nicchi joined the Skidmore athletic training staff in 2006 as an Assistant Athletic Trainer and accepted a new position as the Head Athletic Trainer in 2010.
Meghan came to Skidmore from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. While at UMass she primarily worked with the women’s basketball, tennis, and football teams. She previously spent time working in a fast paced sports medicine clinic in Weymouth, MA while doing per diem coverage for Buckingham, Browne, and Nichols schools.
Meghan received her bachelor’s degree in athletic training from Northeastern University in 2003, and earned her master’s degree in Kinesiology from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in 2006. While she is a native of Clifton Park NY, Meghan currently resides in Niskayuna, NY.

Nate Ayotte

Nate Ayotte joined the Skidmore College athletic training in August 2015 after having previously served as an athletic training assistant at Savannah State University. During his 4 years at SSU, Ayotte’s primary coverage included the school’s NCAA Division I men’s basketball program and FCS football team. He also worked with the Tigers baseball, track & field and men’s and women’s golf teams.
Ayotte earned his bachelor of science degree in athletic training from Norwich University in 2010. He was also a member of the men’s ice hockey team that won the 2010 NCAA Division III national championship.
In addition to being an National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA) certified athletic trainer and a member of the NATA, Ayotte also holds a National Academy of Sports Medicine Certification in Corrective Exercise (CES).
Originally hailing from Waldoboro, Maine, he currently resides in Saratoga Springs.

John Mosier joined the Skidmore Sports Medicine team as in interim assistant for the 2020-21 year, moving to a full time assistant in the summer of 2021. The 2020 Ithaca College graduate helped head athletic trainer

Nate Ayotte navigate the "COVID year," allowing Skidmore athletes and teams to practice and eventually compete. A native of Duanesburg, N.Y., Mosier was a member of the Ithaca Athletic Training Student Association and competed on the Bomber swim team for three seasons. He is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association and the American College of Sports Medicine.
