In a remarkable display of determination and grit, this exceptional team etched its name in Skidmore history by clinching the 2012 Liberty League Championship.
 
The victory paved the way for a coveted spot in the 2012 NCAA Division III Tournament. Facing significant odds, the Thoroughbreds won four straight elimination games to win the Liberty League Championship, including a 3-1 win over host St. Lawrence in the title game. The team displayed sportsmanship of the highest degree, tremendous growth, and unparalleled cohesiveness while representing both Skidmore Athletics and the College with the highest level of professionalism.
