Skidmore College Athletics

With its robust roster of ground-breaking victories, this team ushered in a new era in Skidmore Men's Golf. The Thoroughbreds played in 12 collegiate tournaments, including four at the National Collegiate Athletic Association Division I level. They dominated Division III competition, scoring first-place honors five times (including at the Skidmore Invitational,  Middlebury Invitational, and the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference Qualifier), finishing second four times, and placing third two times.
 
Capturing the #3 spot among the top 12 NCAA Division III schools at the Gordin Invitational, the Thoroughbreds deftly claimed first place at the ECAC Finals and went on to finish fourth at the NCAA Championships, the second Skidmore team to have placed on the podium.
 
Boasting three Academic All-Americans and five playing All-Americans, this legendary team firmly established Skidmore Men's Golf as a regional champion and formidable national competitor. In1994, the Thoroughbreds were named third among the Top NCAA Division III teams by the Golf Coaches Association of America.
