A stellar athlete whose leadership and character shone just as brightly as her rowing skill, Jaclyn Boulais racked up an astounding roster of honors. By the end of her senior year, she had won 26 College Career Rowing Medals.

As a sophomore, Boulais was already making her mark. A New York State Bronze Medalist (Novice 8) in 2003, she captured the New York State Championship title in 2005. Boulais was a three-time Women’s Crew MVP and Adirondack Erg Sprints Champion (2004-2006). An inspirational, supportive team captain, her leadership transformed the team into a cohesive force.  She was invited to and attended the 2005 United States Rowing National Development Camp. Her all-time record for 2k Erg stood unchallenged for over a decade (2004-2017) and she was nationally ranked in erg times for 2k, 6k, and marathon distances.

A chemistry major and Palamountain scholar, Boulais graduated magna cum laude with departmental honors. She was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa and recognized with the Charlotte W. Fahey Award in Chemistry (2006).

A strong supporter of Skidmore Crew, she is invariably on hand to cheer on the Thoroughbreds at the program’s annual Head of Fish Regatta. A neonatologist at the Floating Hospital for Children at Tufts Medical Center, Boulais is also associate medical director of its Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and director of student and resident education.
