Skidmore College Athletics

Skidmore Riding sits firmly at the pinnacle of excellence in national collegiate equestrian competition. This legendary program has produced eight national championship teams. But when the Thoroughbreds claimed the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association National Championship title in 2010, "it was particularly rewarding," reflects Assistant Coach Belinda Colgan '04. "It was the first win of the new millennium and placed us on an extraordinary path that would continue for years to come.
 
Riders who competed on the National Team were Cecilia Culp, Isabella McKeon, Hanae Kimura, Laura Roberts, Chelsea Jones, Kelly Campbell and Elizabeth Kigin.
