Skidmore College Athletics

By clinching the Thoroughbred's first Liberty League Championship and National Collegiate Athletic Association tournament bid, this dynamic and versatile team transformed Women's Basketball into a regional superstar and nationally competitive force.
 
In a historic 17-10 season, the Skidmore women defeated top-seeded St. Lawrence for the third time in a double overtime championship thriller 67-62. The Thoroughbreds ranked third in NCAA Division III in defensive rebounds per game (33),17th in 3-point field goal defense (24.3%) and 21st in field-goal percentage defense (32.6%).
 
Angela Botiba (1st Team All-Conference) led the team in scoring, (13.7 ppg), rebounds per game (10.4) and blocked shots per game (1.7). Molly McLaughlin (2nd Team All-Conference; Conference Tournament MVP) led the conference with 4.9 assists per game. Kelly Donnelly (2015 Liberty League Rookie of the Year) was team leader in steals per game (1.4) and second in scoring (10.1 ppg).
