A consummate team leader and prolific play maker, this two-sport athlete and academic standout set program records for Skidmore Field Hockey that remain unchallenged. In addition to her storied field hockey career, Christine displayed exceptional athleticism as a member of the women's basketball team. Â
A three-time National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division III First Team All-American (2008-10), she was concurrently named a unanimous All-Liberty League First Team and All-Tournament selection. Christine twice garnered NFHCA DIII North Atlantic Region Player of the Year (2009, 2010) honors. A three-time Liberty League Player of the Year (2008-10), she was a two-time Liberty League Tournament MVP (2008, 2010) and All-Academic Team selection (2009, 2010). Â
Ranked 2nd in the nation for assists per game (2009, 2010), she was 4th in points per game and 6th in goals per game (2010). As a senior, Christine set single season records for assists (22) and points (78), proudly representing the Thoroughbreds in the NCAA Senior All-Star Game and earning Skidmore's Senior Athlete Award. As team captain (2009, 2010), she helped power the women to three Liberty League Championships and their first 20-win season- allowing the Thoroughbreds to advance to the NCAA DIII Final Four for the second time in program history. Â
Ranked 3rd in all-time points (202), Christine is still Skidmore Field Hockey's all-time leader in assists (62). She displayed the same unwavering team ethos on the basketball court, distinguishing herself as Defensive Player of the Year, team captain and 3rd in the Liberty League for assists per game (2010-11). Christine is now the head field hockey coach at Wesleyan University (CT).Â
