Box Score TROY, N.Y. – The 11th-ranked Skidmore College women's tennis team won its 25^th consecutive Liberty League match, sweeping RPI by a 9-0 margin on Sunday at the RPI Tennis Courts.
 
Skidmore improves to 7-3 overall and remains a perfect 5-0 in Liberty League dual matches. RPI drops to 6-7 (0-2 Liberty League).
 
The Thoroughbreds bounced back on Sunday with a dominant performance in doubles action. Risa Fukushige and Renee Karchere-Sun picked up an 8-4 victory over Sonya Khudyakov and Junija Lyu at No. 1 and Lily Feldman and Audrey SooHoo defeated Nisha Rajamohar and Jolee McCluskey 8-2 at No. 3. Jessica Ampel and Dea Koiava completed the sweep with an 8-5 win over Sanjana Surapeneni and Brenda Peng 8-5 at No. 2.
 
Skidmore won all six singles matches in straight sets. SooHoo remained undefeated (9-0) on the season in dual singles even after moving up a spot, defeating Lyu 6-0, 6-3 at No. 3. 10^th-ranked Fukushige took care of business at No. 1, defeating Khudyakov 6-1, 6-2. Feldman bounced back after her first dual loss of the season in her previous match, defeating Surapeneni 6-1, 6-4 at No. 2. Swenson also bounced back with a win, defeating Elly Klages 6-1, 6-2 at No. 6. Jackie Ahn improved to 2-1 in singles dual action with her win at No. 5 over McCluskey, 6-3, 6-4. Arielle Gal entered the lineup for the second time this season, picking up a 6-3, 6-1 win over Rajamohan at No. 4.
 
Skidmore will host William Smith in its next match, on Sat., March 30 at 1 p.m.
