Box Score FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – The No. 11 Skidmore College women's tennis team finished the Blue/Grey Invitational with a 5-4 loss to No. 25 Washington & Lee, in dual action Sunday afternoon.
 
The Thoroughbreds fall to 6-3 on the season. W&L improves to 4-4.
 
Skidmore got its lone doubles win at No. 1. Risa Fukushige and Renee Karchere-Sun defeated Taylor Garcia and Georgia Wright by an 8-2 score.
 
Fukushige also won her singles match, defeating Garcia at No. 1, 6-0, 6-3. Audrey SooHoo remained undefeated on the dual season with her win at No. 5, 3-6, 6-3, 6-0. At No. 3, Dea Koiava defeated Wright by a 3-6, 6-4, 7-6 score.
 
The Thoroughbreds will return to New York, taking on RPI in its next match on Sunday, March 24 at 10 a.m.
