RESULTS

ROMEN, Ga.—Skidmore College sophomore Risa Fukushige finished fifth in the 2018 Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Cup being played at the Rome Tennis Center.
 
Fukushige, the Northeast region singles champion, lost to Dana Taylor of Carnegie Mellon University 6-3, 6-1 in the fourth/fifth place match.
 
Her win in the ITA Northeast Regional guaranteed Fukushige 2019 Singles All-America honors. She becomes the 10^th player in program history to earn two career All-America honors (doubles in 2018).
