HARTFORD, Conn.—The Skidmore College women's tennis team finished the regular season with a 7-2 win over Trinity College Saturday afternoon.
The 26
th ranked Thoroughbreds are 9-8 and will compete in the Liberty League championships next weekend in Ithaca. Trinity is 3-10.
Michelle Fuca won 7-5, 6-2 at number three singles and 9-7 at number one doubles with
Madie Benn.
"The regular season has been a bit up and down for us, so it was nice to end it on the up," said Skidmore coach
Curt Speerschneider. "Our main focus now is getting ready for the Liberty League tournament next weekend. The regular season is all just preparation for the post season, which is upon us. We're ready to take it up a notch."
