WELLESLEY, MA – The Skidmore College women's tennis team fell 7-0 to No. 5 Babson on the road Saturday afternoon. The Thoroughbreds dropped to 4-10, while the Beavers improved to 11-3.

DOUBLES MATCHES

• The Thoroughbreds won at second doubles, when the pairing of Ellie Lake/Ruth Wilson took down Babson's Alessandra Cristiani/Dana Kamal in a competitive 6-4 match.
• However, Skidmore would fall 6-1 at first doubles and forfeited third doubles due to lack of available players.

SINGLES MATCHES

• At first singles, first year Ginevra Muratori battled Babson's Sandra Sikharulidze to a 6-4, 6-3 straight sets defeat.
• At second singles, freshman Amelie Gonzalez took a pair of games in the first set before losing 6-2, 6-0 to Babson's Tina Liu.
• At third singles, first year Ellie Lake took games in both sets before falling 6-3, 6-2 to the Beavers' Alessandra Cristiani.
• At fifth singles, sophomore Maeve O'Brien-McKevitt took two games in both sets before falling to Babson's Dana Kamal 6-2, 6-2.
