SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y.—The Skidmore College women's tennis team beat Rensselaer 9-0 under for its 35th consecutive Liberty League win, under the lights Friday night at Wenger Courts.
 
The Thoroughbreds (1-0) swept doubles to take a 3-0 lead going into single.
 
Skidmore then won all six singles, dropping just one of 13 sets.
 
Danielle Gianetti beat Maria Salmon at number one singles 6-1, 6-2 and had an 8-3 win at number three doubles with Brianna Greene. Greene beat Andrea Valencia 6-1, 6-0 at number three singles.
 
Skidmore travels to Union College on Saturday for a 1 p.m. match.
