Williamstown, Mass.--The Skidmore College women's tennis team lost to #1 ranked and unbeaten William College 5-0 in the NCAA Division III Round of 16, Sunday.

Williams College Ephs (22-0) moves on to the quarterfinals for the eighth consecutive year.  The Thoroughbreds finish 14-9.

The Ephs swept doubles, with the number three Skidmore team of Erica Meno and Michelle Fuca putting up a tought battle with Rebecca Curran aned Mary Hart before losing 8-5.

At number one singles, Maria Pylypiv took the Thoroughbreds' Zoe Valella in two sets, 6-1, 6-1. Linda Shin beat Brianna Greene 6-2, 6-0 to clinch it.
