ROCHESTER, N.Y.—The 17^th ranked Skidmore College women's tennis team opened its spring schedule with a lopsided 9-0 win over RIT.
 
The Thoroughbreds (3-0) did not lose a game in all three doubles matches and five of six singles matches against the Tigers (0-2). 
 
Zoe Valella won 6-2, 6-3 at number one singles and won 8-0 at number two doubles with Yumi Karlshoej.  Danielle Giannetti won 6-0, 6-0 at number two singles.
 
Skidmore will host William Smith at 2 p.m Feb. 22 at the Wilton YMCA.
