SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. -- The 20th-ranked Skidmore College women's tennis team was downed by #1 Williams College, 9-0, Sunday afternoon at the Wilton YMCA.

The Thoroughbreds move to 6-2 on the season, while the Eefs improve to 5-0.

The team of Lee Ford and Madeline Benn played the closest match of the day at number one doubles, falling 8-5 to Kara Shoemaker and Rebecca Curan.

Skidmore hosts St. Lawrence University in a Liberty League matchup Sunday, March 23 at 2 p.m.
