SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y.— The Skidmore College women's tennis team became the clear favorite to win the Liberty League title with a 7-2 win over Vassar College, Saturday at the Wilton YMCA.

The Thoroughbreds (5-0) swept the Brewers (1-1) in doubles and then claimed the top three singles matches.

Lee Ford beat Samantha Schapiro at number one singles 6-1, 6-2 and combined with
Madie Benn to win at number one doubles over Schapiro and Shayna Becker 8-4. The number two doubles team of
Rachel Plevinsky and
Alex Smith won the day's closest match, 9-8 (7-2) over Lauren Stauffer and Kelsey Van Noy.
