SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y.— The Skidmore College women's tennis team lost a heartbreaker, 5-4 to Trinity College in a match-up of nationally ranked teams.
Skidmore (9-7) swept doubles to take a 3-0 lead, but lost five of six singles matches, to fall, 5-4. The Thoroughbreds are ranked 19
th nationally, two spots in front of the Bantams.
Lee Ford had a win at number two singles for the Thoroughbreds, beating Hillary Hoyt , 6-4, 6-2 at number two singles. She also combined with
Nataly Mendoza for an 8-6 win at number one doubles.

Caroline Hobbs both lost tight three-set matches.
