Box Score  MIDDLEBURY, Vermont – Skidmore set a new NCAA Tournament record with 11 goals in a game as the seventh-ranked Thoroughbreds (18-3) picked up an 11-1 win over Keene State (21-4) on Middlebury College's Kohn Field.
Kelly Blackhurst (North River, N.Y./Johnsburg) tied an NCAA Tournament record with five goals in the contest for Skidmore.

The Thoroughbreds will face the host school in the NCAA Regional Finals slated for 1:00 p.m. on Sunday. Middlebury, ranked third, beat Utica 8-0.

Blackhurst got things rolling early for Skidmore, scoring twice in a 1:04 span to give her team a 2-0 lead. Following a defensive save by Katelyn Simula, Blackhurst put in the rebound for the game's first goal, also scoring on a rebound for the second tally.

Sam Revera scored off a defender's stick, before
Melanie Webb found the back of the cage 34 seconds later to give Skidmore a 4-0 lead 6:48 in.
Alex Hagney tipped in a pass from
Sam Skott, while Blackhurst earned a first half hat-trick at the 22:45 mark, converting a cross from Hagney.

Krista Lamoreaux redirected a ball sent in by
Dani DeGregory, while Blackhurst earned her fourth goal of the half at the 26:45 mark.

Keene State got on the board by scoring on a penalty corner with no time on the clock. Simula sent in a shot that was tipped high into the cage by Melissa Habelow to make it an 8-1 game at the half.

The Thoroughbreds added three second-half goals, coming away with the 11-1 win. Six different players had goals and seven different players registered assists for Skidmore.

Blackhurst's first goal of the game was the 100
th of her career, now giving her 104. She now has the Skidmore season goal record of 31 and is ranked sixth all-time in NCAA III with 260 points (104-52--260). Her five goals ties a Skidmore record.

Haley McDougall (56:34 MP, 8 saves),
Allie Sosinsky (3:47 MP) and
Amy Beck (9:39 MP) spent time in goal for Skidmore. Meaghan Dwyer (46:05 MP, 8 GA, 5 saves) and Chloe Audesse (23:55 MP, 3 GA, 2 saves) were the goalkeepers for the Owls.
