SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. — Skidmore College head field hockey coach
Kate Lenox has announced the hiring of Lili Dickey as the program's new assistant coach.

Dickey arrives at Skidmore with extensive collegiate coaching experience, having previously served as an assistant coach at Western Connecticut State University and Vassar College. She has also coached at the youth and club levels throughout the Northeast and most recently served as head coach of the Union College club field hockey team, which she guided to the NYSCFHL semifinals in its first competitive season.

"Lili's passion for the game, strong field hockey IQ, and overall focus on student-athlete wellbeing aligns well with the values of our program and the type of experience we strive to create for our student-athletes every day.

A 2020 graduate of Western Connecticut State University, Dickey was a standout defender and midfielder for the Wolves. She served as team captain during the most successful season in program history, earning First Team All-Little East Conference honors, NFHCA Division III All-Region recognition, and three Little East Defensive Player of the Week awards during her career. She also earned Second Team All-LEC honors in 2018.

In addition to her coaching experience, Dickey earned a master's degree in counselor education from Western Connecticut State and has worked as both a school counselor and is currently a home health care manager.

Dickey has also coached with AIM Athletes Club, Saratoga Youth Field Hockey, and numerous camp programs, bringing a wealth of recruiting, player development, and instructional experience to the Thoroughbreds. She joins a Skidmore program under new head coach
