NEW PALTZ, N.Y.— A hard fought doubles sweep propelled the Skidmore College women's tennis team to a 6-3 road win over SUNY New Paltz, Saturday.
 
Zoe Valella and Robyn Baird won a marathon number one doubles match over Jessica Schmidt and Veronika Paikin 9-8 (7-5). Madeline Benn and Yumi Karlshoej won 8-5 at number two and Caroline Hobbs and Rachel Plevinsky won 8-2 at number three.
 
Plevinsky was victorious at number four singles, 6-3, 6-0..
