Saratoga Springs, N.Y. - The Skidmore College women's tennis team earned a pair of wins this weekend, 5-4 at William Smith on Saturday and 8-1 over Ithaca on Sunday in Saratoga Springs.
Against William Smith, the Thoroughbreds swept doubles and picked up wins from 
Nataly Mendoza at number two singles and 
Sophia Bryan-Ajania at number six singles.  Mendoza also teamed up with 
Molly Nolan for a 9-7 win at number one doubles and Bryan-Ajania combined with 
Keirsten Sires to win 8-1 at number three doubles.
Against Ithaca, Mendoza, Nolan, 
Melissa Hirsch and 
Robyn Baird all posted 2-0 records, winning at singles and doubles.  Mendoza teamed with 
Rachel Loeb to win 8-3 at number one doubles and also won 6-1, 6-0 at number three singles.  Hirsch earned a hard-fought 7-6 (7-5), 7-5 win at number two doubles and won 8-1 at number two doubles, teaming up with Baird.
