"
"The midfield was pivotal to the win over Oneonta. Lauren McCarthy and Carolyne McManama were key links in the transition game for the T-breds" coach Beth Hallenbeck Said. "Both were tenacious and aggressive and played with heart and determination. Lauren McCarthy led the team from start to finish with great weaving runs up the field and strong deliveries in the circle. Carolyne used her strong hit to move the ball into the attacking end. The team stepped up and showed their true form when they were challenged and were able to put the game away."
