Albany, N.Y. – The Skidmore College women's tennis team earned a pair of 8-1 victories this past weekend over William Smith and Ithaca.
Freshman 
Nataly Mendoza (San Francisco, Calif.) defeated William Smith's Melissa Slack 6-1, 6-3 and Ithaca's Sarah Hollis 6-0, 6-4 at number four singles. Mendoza also teamed up with 
Danika Robison (South Burlington, Vt.) to win number one doubles, 8-1 against William Smith and 8-6 against Ithaca.
 
Junior 
Rachel Loeb (Greenwood Village, Colo.) won on both days at #2 singles, defeating William Smith's Casey Kennedy 6-3, 6-2 and Ithaca's Devra Reiman 6-1, 6-1. Loeb and freshman 
Brittany Trimble (Whitefish Bay, Wis.) combined to win number 3 doubles, winning 8-1 versus William Smith and 8-5 over Ithaca.
 
Skidmore will return to action on March 14 at Connecticut College.
