Saratoga Springs, N.Y. – On Thursday, the ECAC announced that Skidmore College hockey junior Alex Mykolenko and freshman Zack Menard have received ECAC Men's East All-Conference honors for the 2009-2010 season.

Mykolenko (Kharkov, Ukraine/Northwood School) earned All-Conference Honorable Mention after leading the Thoroughbreds in scoring. In 26 games this season, he has scored five goals and tallied 18 assists for 23 points, while being tied for the team lead with two game-winning goals.

Menard (Burlington, Mass./NH Monarchs) was named to the All-Rookie Team. The freshman defensemen played in all 26 games this season and leads Skidmore with five power-play goals. He also ranks second on the team with 11 assists and tied for third in points with 18. 

The Thoroughbreds are 9-15-2 overall and 7-10-2 in the league, they will take on Babson in the ECAC Men's East semifinals at 7 p.m. tonight at Norwich University.
