HISTORICAL PERSPECTIVE
Skidmore is making its fifth conference semifinal appearance in a row with this the first year in the SUNYAC. Oswego, the defending SUNYAC champions, have won 11 conference titles. The Lakers swept the Thoroughbreds this season, with a tight 3-1 win at home in November followed by a 5-1 win in Saratoga Springs in January. Skidmore is 1-5 in the head-to-head series against Oswego. The Thoroughbreds beat then sixth-ranked Oswego, 4-1, to win the 2022 Skidmore Thanksgiving Invitational title.
