HISTORICAL PERSPECTIVE
This is Skidmore's first SUNYAC postseason game, but the Thoroughbreds have plenty of playoff experience and success. This will be the third year in a row that Skidmore has hosted a tournament game, and the team has victories in each of the last four playoffs in the NEHC. Skidmore won both games over Plattsburgh this season: a 4-2 on Jan. 10 in Saratoga Springs, followed by a 3-2 triumph Feb. 13 in Plattsburgh.

Plattsburgh has a record 24 SUNYAC titles, most recently in 2023.

NEXT
Wednesday night's winners will advance to the SUNYAC Semifinals to be held Saturday, Feb. 28. The teams will be reseeded. Skidmore can either travel to Oswego or host. Plattsburgh can travel to Hobart, Oswego, Cortland, or Canton, or host in the event all four higher seeds lose.
