CLINTON, N.Y. -- Elise Britt '10 scored two goals to help lead nationally ranked No. 16 Skidmore College to a Liberty League field hockey victory against host Hamilton College at Campus Road Athletic Field.

After a scoreless first half, Britt converted on a rebound with 19:43 left in regulation after Hamilton goalie Courtney DeMaria '10 made a save. Kemp and Britt got free on a 2-on-1 breakaway with 5:14 left for the final goal. Kemp passed to Britt, who barely had enough on the shot to get it through DeMaria.

DeMaria made nine saves for the Continentals (1-3, 0-1), including eight in the second half. The Thoroughbreds lead the all-time series, 16-14, and have won the last 12 meetings between the two programs.
