ROME, Ga.—The Skidmore College men's tennis team lost 5-4 to Southern Virginia University Friday in the NCAA Division III second round being played at the Rome Tennis Center.

The Thoroughbreds end the season at 6-2. Playing in its first NCAA tournament SVU is 13-5 and will move on to play Brandeis in the third round on Saturday.
