GENEVA, N.Y.— There will be four Skidmore College men's tennis players in the ITA Northeast Regional round of 16 when play resumes Saturday morning at Hobart College.
 
Number one seed and defending champion 
JT Wynne, seventh seed 
Noah Williamson 9-16 seed 
Travis Leaf, and unseeded 
Suraj Mahtani all won their first two matches.
 
Wynne opened with a tight 3-6, 6-3, 10-6 win over Nico Haet of St. Lawrence, then beat Joseph Reiner of Hamilton 6-1, 6-2. Williamson was a 7-6, 6-2 winner over Jamie Anderson of Vassar and a 3-6, 6-4, 10-8 winner over RPI's Brian Niguidula.
 
Leaf beat Ar Krishan of Stevens 6-1, 6-0 and Adam Krueger of Vassar 6-3, 3-6, 10-8. Mahtani beat 9-16 seed Jonathan Atwater of Hobart 7-6 (5), 7-5 and Thomas Wright of TCNJ 6-4, 6-1.
