CANTON, N.Y. – The Skidmore College men's tennis team, ranked 23rd in the latest Oracle/ITA Division III rankings, cruised to a 9-0 victory over St. Lawrence in Liberty League action Sunday afternoon at the Sammis Courts.
 
Skidmore improves to 8-5 overall and has won its 27th league match in a row. St. Lawrence drops to 4-9 and 2-3 in conference.
 
The duo of Kai Yuen Leung and John Wynne, the second-ranked doubles tandem in the Northeast region, took another victory at No. 1, defeating the Saints' Dean Sponholz and Elliot Solandt 8-3. The teams of Steven Koulouris and Travis Lead, as well as Nils Akesson and Jason Keye also picked up victories.
 
Leung, Ted Berkowitz, and McClaren allowed just two points in their straight set victories at No. 1, 5, and 6, respectively. Wynne battled in the second set but prevailed in his 6-1, 7-5 victory at No. 3 against Kevin Frommer.
 
The Thoroughbreds will wrap up league play for the regular season in their next match at RIT in Rochester on Saturday at 1 p.m.
