POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y.—The Skidmore men's tennis team opened the spring season with a 6-3 win over Vassar on Saturday.
 
Kai Yuen Leung posted a marathon win at number one singles over Nick Litsky, 5-7, 6-2, 14-12. Leung and Nick Tong also won at number one doubles, 8-4 over Daniel Cooper and Nick Zuczek.
 
Lucas Pickering and Steven Koulouris won at number three doubles, 8-3. Pickering took his number five singles match 6-1, 6-3 and Koulouris won 6-2, 6-1 at number three singles.
 
The Thoroughbreds host NYU on March 5.
