SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y.—The Skidmore College men's tennis team continues its quest for a fourth Liberty League title in five years Friday at the Liberty League Championships in Ithaca, N.Y.

 The 26th-ranked Thoroughbreds went 7-0 in regular season league play and have won 11-straight Liberty League matches dating back to last season. Skidmore lost a combined eight individual matches in its seven conference contests this season.

Sophomore
Kai Yuen Leung is 7-0 in Liberty League play in singles this season and 5-0 in conference doubles. He recorded a three-set win against Matthew Heinrich of Stevens, 6-2, 4-6, 6-2, who was ranked as the number two player in the nation to start the season. Leung is currently ranked eighth in the Northeast Region in singles.

Skidmore knocked off Hobart, 8-1, in the regular season meeting between the two teams. The Thoroughbreds won two of three doubles matches before winning all six singles matches. Leung paired with
Nick Tong for an 8-6 win at number one doubles and notched a three-set win at number one singles.

In the tournament's second semifinal, second seed Rensselaer takes on third seed Vassar. The semifinals and championship matches takes place May 2-3 in Ithaca, N.Y. at Cornell University's Reis Tennis Center.Â
