Ryan Warnock had a career-day, producing his first career multi-point game with a goal and an assist and collecting a career-high eight ground balls. He was also 13-for-16 at the faceoff "X". Freshman attackman
Brendan Halloran had two goals and two assists, while junior midfielder
Kevin Mulvey extended his scoring streak to five games with a pair of goals. Freshman netminder
Chris Baughan was two saves shy of his career-high, stopping 15 shots, including seven in the fourth quarter.
Halloran, who leads the team with 24 points, has 12 points in the last five games on seven goals and five assists. Mulvey is averaging 2.29 goals per game, which is fourth-best in the league. Warnock has won 55.8% of faceoffs this season, placing him third in the conference. Senior defenseman
Sam Christiansen has been the defensive catalyst, ranking sixth in the Liberty League in caused turnovers per game (1.33).
SCOUTING THE TIGERS (14-0, 5-0 Liberty League): RIT thumped #11 Union on the road, 22-7, in its last game to improve to 14-0. Sophomore attacker Ryan Lee and senior midfielder Eddie Kiesa each had four goals and two assists. Sophomore attacker Chad Levick added a hat trick. With the win, the Tigers extended the conference winning streak to 27 games.
RIT, which has scored 20 or more goals in six games, leads Division III in scoring offense (17.69), points per game (29.85), assists per game (12.15) and rank second in scoring margin (10.46). The Tigers have jumped on their opponents early, outscoring the competition 71-28 in the first quarter.
Lee has produced a team-high 39 goals, 24 assists and 63 points. He leads the conference in goals per game (2.69) and sits second in points per game (4.38). Brad Gilles is second in the conference in assists per game (2.00), while Lee sits third (1.69). Senior goalie Pat Johnston has started all 14 games in the cage, posting a conference-best .590 save percentage.
