GREENWOOD, Ind. — Recent Skidmore College graduate
David Koffler was named to the 2026 Division III Academic All-America At-Large First Team, as selected by College Sports Communicators and announced Wednesday.
Koffler was one of 45 NCAA Division III student-athletes honored from the thousands who compete across the 10 men's sports included in the at-large program. Of the 45 selections, 14 were men's lacrosse players. Koffler was one of eight Division III honorees with a 4.0 grade-point average.
Koffler, who graduated in May as a management and business and economics double major, is Skidmore's first men's lacrosse Academic All-American and the school's 27th overall. He is Skidmore's first Academic All-American since Tate Brandon in 2024.
One of two Liberty League honorees, Koffler also earned United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association All-America Honorable Mention recognition as a senior. The three-time All-Liberty League selection added several academic honors, including USILA Scholar All-America, Liberty League All-Academic Team, CSC Academic All-District, and Thoroughbred Society recognition.
At Skidmore's Sports Recognition Night, Koffler received the Male Senior Scholar-Athlete Award and the Tim Brown Scholar Award. He is also a nominee for Liberty League Student-Athlete of the Year.
The Division III Academic All-America program is financially supported by the NCAA Division III national governance structure to assist CSC with awards fulfillment for the 2025-26 Division III Academic All-America program.
