LATHAM, N.Y. - The Skidmore College men's tennis team posted a 6-3 win over Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) in a Liberty League match Sundayt at Tri-City Racquet Club.
RPI (3-2) started by winning two of three doubles matches, but the 29th ranked Thoroughbreds (6-1, 5-0 Liberty League) battled back to win five of six singles matches.
Kit Sanderson beat Brandon Mazzara 2-6, 6-0, 6-1 at number two singles and
Nick Tong toughed out a 6-4, 6-7 (5), 10-6 win at number six over Sherman Uyeno.
Skidmore is idle for 10 days, returning to action on March 18 at Pomona-Pitzer (3pm).
