SCOUTING THE SAINTS (2-4): St. Lawrence was knocked off 15-11 by Springfield on Wednesday, extending it losing streak to four
. Wednesday's loss marked the fourth time this season the Saints have conceded 10 or more goals.
St. Lawrence has relied on its offense to balance out its defensive struggles. The Saints are averaging 12 goals per game and 19.5 points per game. St. Lawrence has also made the most of its man-up opportunities, converting on 53.3% of its chances.
Senior Tommy Hovey has led the way for the Saints attack with a team-high 18 goals and 22 points. Hovey has tallied at least two goals in every game this season and is averaging 3.67 points per contest. Junior Jeremy Vautour is tied for the team-high with seven assists and ranks second with 12 goals and 19 points. Nick Ford has started all six games in goal, posting a 9.72 goals against average and a .523 save percentage.
