"I have a lot of respect for coach Mike Mahoney and a very deep and talented St. Lawrence team," said Skidmore coach
Patrick Hart. Â "They play the game incredibly hard.
Â
"We're obviously disappointed in the result of our first league game of the year. Â We went into the game with a game plan that we felt confident in and for the most part our guys did a really good job of executing that game plan. Â
Â
"At the end of the day SLU made just a few more plays than we did, won a few more 50-50 Gbs and that's all it takes in tough league games. Â Overall, I was proud of the effort of our guys and the way they rebounded from a really disappointing game on Tuesday. Â They competed their tails off today. Â We are going to continue to work on execution, fundamentals, and details in the week of prep for a really strong Vassar squad."

Skidmore is back in action March 29 at 1 p.m. at Vassar.
