SARATOGA SPRINGS. N.Y.—The 25^th ranked Skidmore College men's tennis team opened its spring schedule with a 9-0 win over Union College, Saturday at the Wilton YMCA.
 
The Thoroughbreds are 2-0, while the Dutchmen drop to 1-4.
 
Skidmore didn't drop a set on the way to the win. The number one doubles team of Jimmy Sherpa and Nick Tong played the day's closest match with an 8-5 win over T. J. Moor and Grant Zaccaro.
 
Sherpa came back for a 6-3, 6-3 win over Zaccaro at number two singles. Oliver Loutsenko won 6-3, 6-3 over Moor at number one singles and had an 8-1 win at number two doubles with Danny Knight.
 
Skidmore will host NYU on March 1 at the  YMCA.
