POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y.--The Skidmore College men's tennis team breezed into the Liberty League semifinals with a 6-0 win over Bard College, Saturday at Vassar College.
The 27th ranked Thoroughbreds (10-7) will face St. Lawrence University in the semifinals on Sunday at 10 a.m. Skidmore is going for its third straight Liberty League title.
The Thoroughbreds swept doubles and then rode
Jimmy Sherpa's 6-0. 6-0 win over Alexandre Khondji at number one singles to the win.
Miles Ransom had a 6-0 6-0 win at number two singles over Philip Poznasky and
Jonah Epstein won 6-1, 6-0 at number five singles.
