Geneva, N.Y. – The Skidmore College men's tennis team made quick work of Bard, earning a 5-0 win in the first round of the Liberty League Tournament at Bristol Field House.
 
The Thoroughbreds swept through doubles action, dropping just one set in the three matches.  The #1 doubles team of Jimmy Sherpa and Alec Hoblitzell as well as the #2 doubles team of Danny Knight and Oliver Loutsenko were 8-0 winners, while Luke Granger and Max Bevan were 8-1 winners at #3 doubles.
 
Granger won at number one singles and Gabe Steerman clinched the win with a 6-0, 6-0 win at number five singles.
 
The Thoroughbreds take on RPI tomorrow in the Liberty League semifinals.
