Men's tennis rolls past Hobart, 9-0

Saratoga Springs, N.Y. - The Skidmore College men's tennis team cruised to a 9-0 win over Hobart on Sunday afternoon.

The 22nd-ranked Thoroughbreds improve to 8-5 and wrap up their regular season at home on Tuesday against #7 Middlebury.

The #1 doubles team of Jimmy Sherpa and Alec Hoblitzell earned an 8-4 win, while Danny Knight and Oliver Loutsenko were 8-6 winners at #2 doubles and Max Bevan and Luke Granger picked up an 8-4 win at #3 doubles.

In singles action, Loutsenko cruised to a 6-3, 6-1 win at #1 singles, while Miles Ransom, Knight and Gabe Steerman also picked up convincing victories.  Granger and Hoblitzell battled at #2 and #4 singles respectively, but pulled out the wins and preserved the 9-0 victory.
