Saratoga Springs, N.Y.—Down 4-1, the Skidmore College women's tennis team won the final four matches to beat Vassar College 5-4 in a Liberty League battle of nationally ranked teams played at the Saratoga YMCA.
Skidmore (6-1) is ranked 24th in the latest national poll, while Vassar (7-4) is ranked 25th.

Robyn Baird sealed the Thoroughbred win. Baird clinched it at number six singles with a 6-3, 6-1 win over Hanna VanDenmark. Mendoza had a three-set win over Joy Backer at number three singles 6-1, 4-6, 7-6 (7-5) and combined with Ford to win 8-6 at number two singles.
Skidmore travels to the University of Rochester on Sunday.
