Claremont, Calif. - The Skidmore College men's tennis team lost 8-1 on Thursday to #3 Claremont-Mudd-Scripps.

The lone win of the day for the Thoroughbreds came at number three doubles as sophomore Alex Fromson and freshman Oliver Loutsenko picked up a 9-7 win over Russell Brockett and Robbie Erani.

The doubles teams of Luke Granger/Yahia Imam and Spencer Cheng/Lorenzo Cabrera both suffered 8-4 losses.

In singles, Loutsenko lost a tough three-set match at number two doubles to Alex Johnson, 6-4, 2-6, 6-1.

Skidmore is back in action this afternoon, taking on Redlands at 3 p.m.
