Latham, N.Y. – The Skidmore College women's tennis team won its 12th match of the season as they cruised to a 9-0 victory over Connecticut College Sunday afternoon.
The #27 Thoroughbreds have won five of the last six matches and will face 28th-ranked MIT on April 18 in Cambridge, Mass.
Skidmore took a 3-0 lead into singles competition and won all six singles matches in straight sets.
Senior Stephanie Abrams and freshman Allie Burns blanked their opponents at the number two doubles spot, 8-0, while taking wins at number six and three singles, respectively.
