Men's tennis edges Christopher Newport, 5-4

Orlando, Fla. – Led by four wins in six singles matches, the Skidmore College men's tennis team got by Christopher Newport University, 5-4, Friday morning in Orlando Florida. 
Sophomore Lorenzo Cabrera earned a win when he defeated Christopher Newport's Dustin Nelson in three sets, 6-2, 0-6, 6-2. Classmate Spencer Cheng also was victorious in three sets, posting a 6-4, 3-6, 7-6, (7-5) over Martin Brown in number four singles.

Freshman Luke Granger and sophomore Yahia Imam earned an important doubles win for the Thoroughbreds when they beat Dylan Young and John Braig 9-7 in an important match.
Skidmore will return to action on its home courts when they host Wheaton College (MA) on March 21 at 1 p.m.
